Mr. Hamner is responsible for the review of all appraisals performed by Emerald Technology Valuations, LLC. He also performs appraisals of machinery & equipment and inventories across a broad range of high technology industries. Mr. Hamner’s experience includes the valuation of assets and/or inventories of corporations in industries including telecommunications, computer assembly/distribution, printed circuit board manufacturing and wafer fabrication.

Prior to co-founding Emerald Technology Valuations, Mr. Hamner served as Chief Appraiser at Dovetech, Inc. (currently known as DoveBid Valuations Services, Inc.) where his responsibilities included the appraisal of technology related equipment and inventories, the review of all company appraisals and the creation and maintenance of a comparable sales database.

Previously, Mr. Hamner served as Venture Analyst at Pacific Venture Finance, a Walnut Creek, California-based venture leasing company. In that capacity, he was responsible for the evaluation of venture backed start-up companies. Prior to that, he served as Equipment Research Analyst at Pacific Venture Finance, responsible for residual analysis and after market pricing of high tech capital equipment.
